Spread the love

We the PTA at St Stanislaus International School would like to share the success of the Teachers Day function that we had this year 2022 with the tremendous support from each and every parent and student.

Thanks to you dear parents for all the help during those past few weeks especially towards the kids who had to stay extra hours after school for practices.

The program commenced with a warm welcome to the staff by the students and PTA.

Our head girl Chenelle Dias (Grade 10) conducted the entire program for the morning fantastically.

Mark D’Mello (Grade 8) and Stefan Dias (Grade 6) performed a valuable introduction skit explaining why “Teachers are so Important”. Qasim Arsiwala (Grade 7) then led all of us into a beautiful prayer for our teachers.

Our most adorable students from Grade 1 to 6 put up a beautiful action song for our dear teachers. This was followed by a play that was enacted “Why teachers are so very important and preferred than any gadget in the world” by our students of Grade 8 to 10.

We then had our dear students of Grade 4 to 7 reciting a beautifully worded poem for the teachers. Mark Fernandes (Grade 8) did a lovely mimicry act.

Our highlight was a video created by McElans D’costa (Grade 10) that beautifully showcased the love that our students have for their dear teachers.

Our stand out dance performers from Grade 7 to 9 got everyone on their feet and the teachers up on stage.

Our grand finale by the super-duper band brought down the curtain for the morning. This program was concluded with a vote of thanks by Rihaane Fernandes (Grade 6).

The teachers were then called on stage and presented with an envelope as a token of our love and appreciation.

Our principal Mrs. Anna Correa along with the teachers truly enjoyed the entire program and sang a lovely thank you song for the students and parents.
