On the occasion of the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the Jesuit Community and our school came together to honor and celebrate the life and legacy of this great saint. The program began with a heartfelt prayer service, creating an atmosphere of reflection and reverence. Following the prayer service, a thought-provoking skit was performed by the students. The Recollection for our Grade 10 students was held in school on 25th & 26th July. The aim of this recollection for students, was to spend time away from regular classes and school, in reflection and contemplation. The sessions on Day 1 were conducted by Ms. Fedora De Mello – Qualified NLP Practitioner and Life coach. The school celebrated French Day on July 15th, 2024, with a special program held in the School Hall. The event commenced with a short assembly conducted in French, followed by a role-play discussing the significance of Bastille Day. An entertaining skit was then performed by students from Grades 8 and 10. Following this, Grade 6 students showcased their singing talents with “Comment ça va,” impressing everyone despite having only started learning the language a month earlier. Yoga Day celebrations at our school this year revolved around the theme of Remedial Yoga, highlighting how yoga serves as a remedy for various challenges faced by students. The event commenced with an enlightening speech underscoring the significance of yoga in addressing common issues such as attention deficiency, indecisiveness, back problems, sports-related cramps, and stress among students.
