After a long struggle from the depths of enchainment, India rose into freedom on 15th August, 1947. It is indeed a day when we at St. Stanislaus International remind ourselves of a bloody but uphill battle that led India into victory.

This year too, hand on our hearts we renewed our commitment and pledged our devotion to this great nation.  Our young blooming Indians filled the air with patriotic fervour through song and dance. The fashion show themed ‘Unity in Diversity’ brandished the verity that St. Stanislaus is in fact a melting point of cultures thereby promoting Inter-Religious Harmony.

We were privileged to have had in our midst Colonel Jitendra Sharma as our Chief Guest who spent the latter part of the programme briefing us on Careers in Armed Forces. The event drew to a close as we sang the national anthem reflecting on our historic and composite culture.
