IT’S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR

“Christmas is like candy; it slowly melts in your mouth sweetening every taste bud, making you wish it could last forever.”— Richelle E. Goodrich.

The morning assemblies filled with angelic caroling and the adorable decorations at every corner indicates the onset of Christmas. This year’s theme focuses on ‘making spirits bright’.

Our attention is not just on opening up presents but making room is our hearts for God to write his story. The Christmas activities have left us thinking a little less about ourselves and a little more about others. The exchange of cards amplifies the fact that love weighs more than gold.

To conclude in the words of Calvin Coolidge, ‘To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.’ For happiness is not so much in having, as sharing. We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.

Have yourself A Very Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!
