Van Mohotsava or the festival of planting trees is celebrated every year from the 1st of July to the 7th of July. It was started by K. M. Munshi, the then Union Minister for Agriculture and Food to create enthusiasm among masses for forest conservation and planting trees in 1950. In order to celebrate this occasion, we at St. Stanislaus International School, conducted various activities for the students. For Grades 1 to 5 a ‘Best out of waste’ competition was held on the 1st of July. It was amazing to see the different articles made by the students and they all enjoyed making these articles. A lot of creativity and thought was put into each item.
