The Feast of St Ignatius of Loyola
A number of competitions were held in celebration of The Feast of St Ignatius of Loyola. The Ignatian March Competition kickstarted the celebratory month. Grades 1 & 2 participated in The Ignatian Collage Competition. From creativity to originality to resourcefulness— everything was well planned and thought of.
While the students of Grades 5 & 6 constructed slogans based on the Ignatian principles that once again reminded us about our purpose in life, the students of Grades 7 & 8 engaged themselves in The Ignatian Quiz Competition titled— ‘Are you an Ignatian Expert?’. Grades 9 & 10 constructed speeches built on quotes by St Ignatius that prompted us to find our ‘Inner Iggy’.
Here at St Stanislaus International, a Fancy Dress Competition is not just a day when you wake up and play dress up but a platform to create awareness on a number of issues and an occasion to bring to light the work of so many great men and women, before and during our time. And the Students of Grades 3 & 4 did just that!
We don’t have to engage in grand heroic actions to participate in the process of change. Small acts like participating in our school competitions when multiplied by millions of people can definitely transform the world. So go out there and set the world on fire.
