The Annual English Elocution Competition, held on the 24th of August, featured two captivating categories: Individual and Choral Recitation, showcasing the diverse talents of our students.
In the individual category, participants mesmerised the audience with their carefully chosen words, impeccable diction, and emotional depth. The choral recitation category, on the other hand, was a harmonious display of teamwork and synchronisation as participants blended their voices to create a captivating auditory experience.
Our esteemed panel of judges, Gayatri Gokhale, Sanford Pereira, and Kashmira Irani, brought their expertise to the evaluation process, considering aspects of diction, emotion, and stage presence. Their insightful feedback enriched the experience for all participants.
Not only did the competition celebrate the elegance of the English language, but it also skilfully enhanced students’ confidence, aptitude in public speaking, and their admiration for literature.
