“Innovation is seeing what everybody has seen and thinking what nobody has thought.”
The 8th Annual Day celebration of our school, held on the evening of October 25, 2024, was a vibrant testament to this idea. Centered around the theme “Innovation: Driven by Great Minds,” the event celebrated the boundless creativity and ingenuity that has shaped the course of human history and continues to inspire future generations.
This year’s celebration was special in many ways, bringing together the collective efforts of students, teachers, staff, and the invaluable support of the management and Parent-Teacher Association. Mrs. Anuradha Andrade, the proud parent of Master Liam Andrade, our school topper for the academic year 2023-24 was the Chief Guest for the evening. Her presence added a deeply personal and inspiring touch to the event, as she represented the essence of academic excellence and parental dedication. Her heartfelt words resonated with everyone in the audience, encouraging students to dream big and strive for greatness.
The evening began with a warm welcome to all guests, followed by an inspiring speech by Fr. Luke Rodrigues, S.J. With his wisdom and eloquence, he emphasized the transformative role of education and innovation in shaping individuals and society. He encouraged students to view challenges as opportunities and approach learning with curiosity and enthusiasm, setting an inspiring tone for the program.
The highlight of the celebration was a skit accompanied by a series of performances, showcasing a remarkable display of teamwork and imagination. Written by our students and refined with guidance from teachers, the play took the audience on a journey through time, illustrating groundbreaking innovations that have shaped the world. From the invention of the wheel to advancements in Artificial Intelligence, each segment brought history to life. The blend of acting, music, and dance mesmerized the audience while conveying a powerful message about the importance of innovation in driving progress.
Following this captivating performance, the Annual Report was presented. It gave an insightful account of the school’s achievements over the past year. From academic successes to co-curricular milestones, the report highlighted the relentless efforts of students and staff in pursuing excellence.
The prize distribution ceremony was another momentous part of the evening, celebrating the accomplishments of students in various fields. The recognition of their hard work and talent served as a motivation for all students to aim higher and excel in their pursuits.
The evening concluded with a vote of thanks from our principal, acknowledging the contributions of everyone who made the event a success. The collective efforts of students, teachers, staff, management, and parents came together seamlessly, creating an unforgettable experience.
