St Stanislaus International School celebrated Children’s Day on Thursday, 14th November, 2024 with a vibrant and engaging event that captivated the hearts of young minds. Outward Bound, India – Himalaya, a social enterprise that conducts outdoor events in the wilderness and the urban outdoors, was called to organize a few exciting items for the students.
The primary and the secondary students were called separately as different events were organized for them. Furthermore, Grades 1, 2 and 3 were together in one group and Grades 4 and 5 in another. There were fun activities like the rope game and formation of a star as well as a game that involved hula hoops. The students learnt virtues like teamwork and integrity.
Grades 6, 7 and 8 had fun activities like “diffusing the time bomb” which involved numbers. Grades 9 and 10 had ladder-climbing and jumaring, which enhanced their physical and mental skills.
The Children’s Day celebration was a resounding success, filled with laughter, joy, and unforgettable memories. The event provided a platform for children to express themselves, learn new skills, and bond with their peers.
A special shout-out to the volunteers of Outward Bound, India – Himalaya who ensured that each of the students was safe and secure without the dilution of fun and frolic. The activities aimed to educate and enhance the skills of the students. We also want to thank the school, volunteers, and staff who contributed to the success of this event.
