Every year we celebrate the French national day- Bastille Day with a lot of enthusiasm and a variety of activities. This year too, was no different. We organized different activities grade-wise , ranging from video-making projects, art contests and interactive games for the students.
For Grades 6 and 7, the students had a treat watching animated French films and songs. They played games like bingo, word search games & other puzzles. Grade 8 students had an Eiffel Tower art contest, where they had to make Eiffel tower replicas using different materials. The winners of the contest were Jordan Rodrigues, Kian Drego and Luluah Mithaiwala.
Grade 9 students had a video project titled: Moi-méme (Myself) where they had to make a video about themselves, family, hobbies & interests. Our students worked enthusiastically and produced quality work. The best videos were made by Nathaniel Watts, Chelsy Vaz and Aditi Bijoor.
Our Grade 10 students were tasked with making a video of their favourite recipe titles Ma recette favorite. We had several budding chefs sharing their favourite recipes. Our students Jordan Rodericks and Raul Fishery did an exceptional job. Apart from these projects, the students watched short movies and listened to French music from different genres. The students also played lots of interactive games and had lots of fun, while learning more about the language and culture at the same time.
