We honour our great freedom fighters in the national celebration of Independence Day. This day teaches us the importance of patriotism and strengthens our unity irrespective of any differences. We remember all the struggles and sacrifices, which our ancestor did for the country. Schools and colleges organise different cultural programs that includes singing and dancing on the patriotic song.
We celebrated Independence Day in St. Stanislaus International School by conducting a virtual inter- religious prayer service. The videos of students from different religions and cultures were recorded and put together along with few of the teachers sharing some of their thoughts on this day. We finally ended the programme with the national anthem.
